Consolidation
- Applied for and received a NYS grant to study the possible consolidation of the Village, the Town of Ossining, and the Village of Briarcliff Manor

Proposed a plan to provide Police Services to the Unincorporated Portion of the Town of Ossining

Initiated a proposal to integrate the Town Highway Department into the Village Department of Public Works.
Planning and Zoning
- Spearheaded the formulation of the first comprehensive plan for the Village of Ossining since 1959
- Achieved passage of the first wide-ranging zoning amendments since 1992 culminating four years of hard work by the Mayor, the Board, a volunteer citizen committee, staff and consultants
Development
- Led the Trustees in passage of an Affordable Housing Law

Collaborated with Westchester County and developers to bring new units of housing for employees, firefighters, beginning police officer, and others in the restored 1878 Ossining Trust Building and other sites

Oversaw preparation of a Significant Sites and Structures Handbook to aid in Historic Preservation and new residential and commercial designs
- Solicited and currently evaluating proposals for the development of the Bank at the top of Main Street, the "We Can Do It" gap on Main Street, and the former Public Works site bordered by Lower Main Street, Water Street, and Central Avenue

Appointed a Complete Count Committee for the 2010 U.S. Census, achieving inclusion of the largest percentage of Ossining residents ever, ensuring our share of Federal and State funding and a greater voice in the governance of the nation
Environment
- Represented the Village on the Executive Board of the Northern Westchester Energy Action Consortium, working on sustainable sources of energy, "green" home renovation, and better ways to dispose of organic waste
- Audited energy use in public buildings and applied for Federal and State grants to retrofit them

Formed a joint "Green Committee" with the Town of Ossining to recommend changes in our energy use practices both in municipal and private buildings
Arts
- Brought live theatrical performances for all ages to Ossining's Waterfront
- Created and serves on a new Public Arts Committee that works closely with the Downtown Development Committee, the Ossining Arts Council, and others to enhance the look of our major arteries and the waterfront

Served on the MetroNorth Committee to choose contemporary art works for the renovated Ossining Railroad Station
